Dr Usman Isyaku
Head of Research
Dr. Usman contributes to data analysis, ensures learnings are implemented, and communicates findings to stakeholders. He plays a key role in designing both quantitative and qualitative data collection instruments and collaborates closely with partners to train enumerators, conduct data collection, and maintain data quality standards.
Dr. Usman is an analytical thinker with attention to detail and a passion for leading behaviour change among vulnerable groups. He has more than ten years experience in advising research projects and training students in Nigeria. He investigated climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Bergen and lectured on social sciences and research methods at the Ahmadu Bello University. Dr Usman also consulted for the World Bank’s Development Impact Evaluation Research Group. He holds a PhD in Human Geography from the University of Leicester.
